Committee of Civic Culture for Cali - 5C

The 5C is a group of representatives of civil society in Cali who met in order to promote and carry out civic culture to build a kinder Cali, based on respect, tolerance and peaceful coexistence.

5C members are organized in thematic groups to plan actions and interventions in the city to promote civic responsibility among the inhabitants of the city, these committees are:

Mission

cali03 To raise awareness, mobilize and support the city of Cali around urban culture through the generation of inputs for workable policies, promotion and support spaces for the consolidation of programs and joint actions and initiatives on issues of civic culture, to help improve the quality of life in Cali.

Vision

Be the group that represents civil society on urban culture and serves as a reference, a consultant and liaise with local government and community in general for all matters related to this issue.

Strategic Objectives

Propose guidelines for developing policies, plans, programs, projects and activities of civic culture in Cali.
To promote, coordinate, support, and integrate initiatives in the city which work towards building civility and citizenship.
Promote Civic Culture as a priority issue for local government to private enterprise and society in general.
Create and promote opportunities for research, discussion and training on issues related to urban culture.
Accompany Public Administration in projects and programs of civic culture.

The 5C is a space open to all citizens and organizations who want to contribute to the promotion of a friendly city.
