ninaFoundation for Education and Social Development

FES is a non-government, non-profit organization that works in promoting social development and the improvement of the living conditions of the Colombian people through the design and implementation of programs and projects that support the construction of a more equitable Colombia.

Founded in Cali but with a presence nationwide the FES has over 48 years of experience through which it has worked on important issues related to health, education, environment, economic development and civic culture in Colombia.  It has worked in partnership with public and private and both national and international organizations.

Promote an equitable society for the Colombian people through the impact of the development of public policies and the creation and proper use of common knowledge.

Be a leading institution in the development of effective initiatives for the solution of social problems, with an emphasis on the improvement of conditions in the education and health of the Colombian people.
